Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Plain-English beta policy, not yet lawyer-reviewed. We'd rather tell you exactly what happens with your data than hide behind boilerplate.
What we collect
Account data: your email address and display name.
Resumes: if you use the resume-to-skills feature, we store the file you upload and the text extracted from it, privately, tied to your account. Resumes routinely contain personal information — that's the point of the feature — so read the next section carefully.
Usage data: we use PostHog analytics to understand how the product is used (pages viewed, features tried, where visitors came from). We use this to improve the product and measure marketing, not to sell to anyone.
Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we only record that a purchase happened and how many credits it added.
How resume data is processed
To generate your skill inventory and skill files, the text of your resume is sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Before that happens, we automatically redact email addresses, phone numbers, and SSN-like patterns from the text. This redaction is best-effort: it reliably catches emails and phone numbers, but it does not reliably catch street addresses or names. Don't upload a resume you're not comfortable processing this way, and never upload someone else's resume.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database + file storage), locked to your account — other users cannot access your resumes, skill files, or history.
Deleting your data
You can delete resumes and skill files in-app at any time, which removes both the records and the stored files. For full account deletion, email us and we'll remove everything within a few days.
